As a music educator I have seen first hand the importance of students having multiple ways to learn and that the material must be fun whilst challenging. That's why I have also created 16 backing tracks for you to play along with which includes some famous songs:
Ode to Joy
We Wish You a Merry Christmas
Love Me Tender
and some original compositions:
Bob's Reggae - In the style of Bob Marley
Don't Be Worried, Just Be Happy - In the style of Bobby McFerrin
Can You Believe It? - In the style of the Monkies
As a bonus there are also 7 Drum tracks to practice the lesson exercises to in order to increase your playing speed and sharpen your accuracy.
The final icing on the cake is, as with all my courses, you will have my personal email and be in direct contact with me, so that I can personally answer your questions and provide further guidance whenever needed!
Born in Yorkshire England, John "Jb" Hellewell grew up listening to his parents and grandparents eclectic (for rural England in the 80's) musical collection with wonder and interest, it was this early exposure to country and blues music that made him want to become a musician. Beginning with piano and acoustic guitar at a young age, John soon realised that this hobby would make for an interesting career and he has since spent his time trying his hand at various instruments and is always striving to further his musical journey. With a degree in Music Performance from London college of music under which he was taught by some of England's finest musicians John set out on his quest to become a music educator himself. Since gaining his qualified teacher status and working in the English school system John has traveled extensively and taken every opportunity going to gain experience from educators in other countries and to share his knowledge in return. John now resides in Poland and is enjoying the challenges that a new culture, new language and starting a family brings him.
